AN ORDINANCE; AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 254,
SECTION 27 ENTITLED "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC" OF THE
CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret,
(hereinafter `Borough"), that Chapter 254 entitled "Vehicles and Traffic", Section 27
entitled "Schedule IX: One -Way Streets" of the Code of the Borough of Carteret is
hereby amended and supplemented as follows:
Section 1. §254 -27, entitled "Schedule IX: One -Way Streets." is hereby amended
and supplemented to include the following additional roadway:
Schedule IX: One -Way Streets.
Name of Street Direction Location Parking Permitted
(side)
Irving Street West High Street 30 minute limited time
to Cooke Avenue parking on North Side
Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provision
of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any
such inconsistencies.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall be
declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the
section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able
from the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication
according to applicable law.
