AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING SALE OF THE
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following City owned real property is hereby declared surplus
Part of a tract of land situate in Outlot No. 29 of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri and conveyed to the City of Jefferson as '
3 per Quit-Claim Deed of record as per Book 101, Page 389, of

the Cole County Recorder's Office; said part is south of the t
south line of Stadium Boulevard and is part of the first z
- described tract im said Book 101, Page 389 and being more
particularly described as follows:

;R BEGINNING at the most southerly corner of the first described
tract in said Book 101, Page 389; thence northwesterly
7j (N47°53'00''W) along the southwesterly line of said tract,
' 101.83 feet, more or less, to a point 31.5 feet south of the

centerline of Stadium Boulevard'as per plans of record of the
City of Jefferson, said point also being the southwesterly
` corner of tract conveyed to the City of Jefferson as per Quit-

line of said tract in Book 101, Page 389; and easterly along a

Containing in all,0.13 acres, more or less.

Section 2. All of that portion of the above real property is hereby retained as a �
perpetual easement or right-of-way for the construction, maintenance, repair, relocation i
and operation of sanitary sewers, . surface water drainage, and all public utility facilities, and
no permanent buildings or stnu(lures shall be located within or upon said easement without
the prior written consent of the City.
Section 3. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to solicit bids for the
property described in Section 1 for sale, and to sell the property to one or more adjoining
landowners for the highest and best bid. {
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full fora: and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
