AN ORDINANCE OF THE C11`Y OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH COLE COUNTY,
MISSOURI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute an agreement with Cole County, Missouri. The amount expended for the
contract shall not exceed $24,000.00.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content
as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.

CONTRACT
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered thij�day of L�993,by and between
the City of Jefferson,Missouri,a municipal corporation,hereinafter referred to as"City,"and the Cole
County Commission, a body corporate, hereinafter referred to as "County."
WHEREAS,the City and the County are in need of obtaining aerial photographs for planning
and preliminary engineering purposes; and
WHEREAS, the County has entered into a contract with Surdex, Inc., in March of 1993, for
aerial photography, which has been completed and the actual mylar reproduction is underway, said
contract cost being approximately One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($106,000.00),; and
WHEREAS,the City and County are desirous of entering into a contract wherein the City will
3 pay to County the sum of Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00), representing the cost of said
aerial photos taken of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, which were prepared by Surdex, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it agreed as follows:
1. City agrees to pay County the sum of Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00),
representing the cost of aerial photographs, and mylar reproduction, of the City of Jefferson, Cole
County,Missouri,prepared by Surdex,Inc.,as a result of its contract with the County executed March
1, 1993.
2. Upon receipt of the payment of Twenty-four Thousand Dollars($24,000.00),County agrees
f to release to City the aerial photographs and mylar reproductions of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
that were prepared by Surdex, Inc., as a result of its contract with the County.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have set their hands and seals on the day and
year first above written.
