AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS FROM THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGEI4CY FOR A GRANT RELATED TO FLOOD
BUYOUT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute any and all documents from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a
grant related to flood buyout. The initial grant amount is $1,500,000.00.
Section 2. The documents shall be substantially the same in form and content
r, as those documents attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
j7 date of its passage and approval.
