Home My Public Portal AboutORD12096 BILL NO. 94-31 ' SPONSOR Haake ° ORDINANCE NO. 92096 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES IN COPPER RIDGE SUBDIVISION. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 11, Page 408, of the Records of the Cole County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and repair structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots, tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1; Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose: A strip of land 10 feet wide across part of Lot Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of ,. COPPER RIDGE SUBDIVISION, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the centerline of said 10 foot easement to be vacated is more particularly described as follows: From the southeasterly corner of Lot 3 of said COPPER RIDGE SUBDIVISION; thense N02054128"W, along the easterly line of said Lot 3, 44.77 feet; thence N82015105 11W, 127.19 feet to a point on the westerly line of said Lot 3; thence N02054128"W, along the westerly line of said Lot, 10.05 feet to the point of beginning for this description; thence continuing N02054'28"W, along the westerly line of Lot 3 and the westerly line of Lot 7, 227.18 feet to the point of termination. ALSO: Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 7; thence N87005'32"E, along the southerly line of said Lot 7, 125.0 feet to the point of termination. Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement. Section 3.
