Section 2. The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby further amended by the
addition of a new Schedule A, (Speed Limits), Subsection (G) (Twenty Miles Per Hour) of Section
19-401 which shall read as follows:
(g) Twenty miles per hour. No vehicle shall be driven at a speed in
excess of twenty miles per hour on:
Any roadway in any school zone, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00
P.m., on any day that a school in or adjacent to the zone is attended by
children, provided further that in those zones equipped with flashing
beacons the provisions of this section shall only apply when the
beacons are activated. The following roadways are hereby designated
school zones:
