ORDINANCE NO. 12183
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF MONROE STREET AND REX WHITTON EXPRESSWAY, INCLUDING
601, 603, 605 AND 607 MONROE STREET AND INLOTS 828 AND 829, FROM RA-2,
MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RA-2, Multi-
Family Residential, to C-2, General Commercial:
Property located at the southeast corner of Monroe Street and Rex
Whitton,.Expressway, including 601, 603, 605 and 607 Monroe Street
and Inlots 828 and 829, described as:

The northerly 50 feet of Inlot No. 827, in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of said Inlot No. 827; thence
Psoutherly along the westerly line thereof, 50 feet; thence easterly parallel
with the northerly line, 104 feet 4-1/2 inches, to the easterly line thereof;
thence northerly along said easterly line, 50 feet, to the northeasterly
corner thereof; thence westerly along the northerly line, 104 feet 4-1/2
inches, to the point of beginning; AND
Part of Inlot No. 827 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, particularly,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of said Inlot No. 827,
which point is 50 feet southerly from the northwesterly corner thereof; j
thence southerly along the westerly line 40 feet; thence easterly parallel
with the northerly line of said Inlot 104 feet 4-1/2 inches to the easterly

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
