ORDINANCE NO. 12283
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
DISCONTINUING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR A PORTION OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY
: i ADJACENT TO INTERSECTION OF STADIUM & LAFAYETTE STREETS IN THE CITY
.., OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AND AUTHORIZING ITS CONVEYANCE TO THE SCHOOL A i;
i DISTRICT OF JEFFERSON CITY.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the Council of the City of Jefferson Missouri, that
the owners of land adjacent to and abutting upon property located in part of Outlot Nos. 84

and 85 in the City, have petitioned the City Council to vacate a right-of-way: and h . .
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or
F� f: the citizens of the City to discontinue a portion of the alley right-of-way of part of Outlot ?;
Nos. 84 and 85 for public use as described in Section 1 of this Ordinance; and ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
; i JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

-Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby declares it
' u? necessary, reasonable and proper to discontinue as a right-of-way a portion of part of
}` Outlot Nos. 84 and 85 and forever vacate the following described right-of-way in said City:
Part of Outlot Nos. 84 and 85 and part of a 30 foot wide street right-of-
way lying between said Outlots, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County,
= Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
'E? From the northeasterly comer of said Outlot No. 85; thence
S41°34'35"W, along the easterly line of said Outlot No. 85, 178.00 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING for this description; thence S1 5°25'02"W,
42.86 feet; thence Southerly, on a curve to the left, having a radius of
r 423.06 feet, an are distance of 116.81 feet, (the chord of said curve L,
being S7 030127"W, 116.43 feet); thence Southwesterly, on a curve to
the right, having a radius of 131.50 feet, an arc distance of 115.08 feet,
' (the chord of said curve being S53 008'08"W, 111.44 feet); thence
Westerly, on a curve to the right, having a radius of 251.03 feet, an arc

141.56 feet) to a point on the northerly line of a Special Easement for
Road Right-of-way of record in Book 248, Page 572, Cole County

N41 34 35 E, along the easterly line of Outlot No. 85, 242.22 feet to the
