APPROVING ANNUAL BUY -BACK
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret presently compensates its employees, pursuant to
the provisions of collective bargaining agreements, for unused sick time in order to
provide for increased productivity, efficiency and ultimate long term savings for the
Borough; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That the 2020 Accrued Time Compensation Buy -Back currently in place for
employees is henceforth approved for 2020 as follows:
Union Member Employees
Up to eight (8) sick days
Non - Union/ Management Emcees
Up to 8 sick days
Up to 10 vacation days
Adopted this 5' day of November, 2020
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 6, 2020.
