Pre -Construction Conference: A meeting has been scheduled for a pre -construction conference with L.T. General and all sub contractors. At this time, problems that may or may not become realities will be discussed. 2. Elimination of New Private Cart Storage: The Committee discussed several concerns associated with the transition from the present site to the new clubhouse. The Committee agreed there may be a possibility of storing several private carts with contractors carts. Another possibility discussed would be to use the existing storage until a new cart storage could be built at the new site. 3. Medley Subdivision: It was agreed that the Committee would consider a specific proposal for the land swap. The Committee suggested that Mr. Medley have both properties appraised and staked. The Committee will then visually inspect the properties. In order to agree to a possible trade, Mr. Medley would have to take the sloping hillside. 4. Driving Range: Mr. Engen reported that Craig Collins had the suggestion of a floating driving range to be installed as opposed to an irrigated turf field. Following a short discussion weighing the pros and cons, the Committee agreed that the Golf Foundation be made aware of the idea. The Committee took no action for a recommendation at this time. 5. Putting Green Construction: Mr. Jackson has discussed with Craig Collins of Collins Fuel the possibility of constructing a putting green adjacent to the new clubhouse. Until soil samples from several sources are accessed both chemically and physically, an exact dollar figure cannot be obtained. Mr. Jackson believes that 1 $16,000.00 would be adequate. Soil samples will be sent to Texas A and M University. Without further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for May 8, 1990 at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. {,/ eGWY .inc Dave Engen, -e irman 2
