AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND t
DISCONTINUING THE STREET RIGHT-OF-'WAY FOR A PORTION OF GARY LANE IN f
EASTWOOD ACRES, SECTION 2.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, that
the owners of land adjacent to and abutting upon Gary Lane in the City, have petitioned the ;
City Council to vacate a street right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or v

the citizens of the City to discontinue a portion of the street right-of-way of Gary Lane for
public use as described in Section 1 of this Ordinance; and
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
• � , action The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby declares it
necessary, reasonable and proper to discontinue as a street right-of-way a portion of Gary
Lane and forever vacate the following described street right-of-way in said City:

Eastwood Acres, Section 2, being a subdivision of a part of the Northeasty,

Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 44 North, Range
11 West, in.the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri; said part of Gary
Lane being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of Lot 6 of said Eastwood Acres, Section
2; thence westerly along the north line of said Lot 6, said north line also being ,}
the south line of said Gary Lane to a point, said point being the intersection
of the south line of said Gary Lane and the northerly line of U.S. Highway No. '
°r 50; thence northwesterly along the northerly line of said U.S. Highway No. 50
to a point 180 feet left of centerline Station 213+50 of said U.S. Highway No.
