AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A {
CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES IN KNIPP WEST ti
r ` SUBDIVISION, SUBSECTION 3.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 347, Page 199, of the Records of the Cole

County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a Municipal
Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and repair structures for the
routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots, tracts or parcels of land

described in Section 1;
Y .$ $ection 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus

property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:

Part of a 15 foot wide strip of land being a part of an existing "Sanitary Sewer
} Easement" as described in Book 347, Page 199, of the Cole County Recorder's
fi. Office, and situaute in part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 9, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County
of Cole, Missouri, said 15 foot wide strip lying 7.5 feet either side of and adjacent
., to a centerline being more particularly described as follows:
From the northwesterly comer of KNIPP WEST SUBDIVISION, SECTION 2, as
per plat of record in Plat Book 11, Page 710, Cole County Recorder's Office;
thence S01°23'26"W along the westerly line of said KNIPP WEST
r ... SUBDIVISION, SECTION 2, 194.58 feet to the centerline of said easement

ALSO, part of a strip of land 15 feet wide being a part of an existing "Sanitary
Sewer Easement" as described in Book 357, Page 961, of the Cole County
Recorder's Office, and situate in part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast r
Quarter of Section 9, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of
Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri, said 15 foot strip lying 7.5 feet either side of

g lop 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City
does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement.
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any

necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground
described in Section 1.
Section-4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and erect from and after the date of
