AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE ZONING `- CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, PERTAINING TO BARS AND TAVERNS. WHEREAS, certain questions have arisen regarding the appropriate placement of businesses serving alcohol by the drink; and WHEREAS, the policy of the City with regard to the appropriate zoning districts for � +e15i �c establishments commonly known as bars or taverns should be definite and certain, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section Section 35-3(Definitions)of the Code of the City of Jefferson is hereby amended by the addition of a definition for bars and taverns, to read as follows: �a a Section 35-3. Definitions. 1, k Bar or Tavern. an establishment serving liquor by the drink on the premises deriving over 50% of gross revenue from the sale of alcoholic beverages Restaurant: an establishment deriving over 50% of gross revenue from the sale of food and drink not including alcoholic beverages r ectioa 2. Section 35-20 (District Regulations), paragraph 9 (C-2 General Commercial District) is hereby amended by the addition of language to read as follows: tR Sec.35-20.District Regulations. . 9. C-2 General Commercial District u _i Permissive Uses: a. Any permissive use of the C-1 and C-3 districts. b. Automobile or trailer display and salesroom. c. Display and salesroom. d. Drive-in restaurant. e. Farm implements,sale and repair. f. Farm store or feed store,including accessory storage of liquid or solid fertilizer. 1 g. Milk distributing station. Used Car Lot when the number of vehicles offered for sale does not exceed one T vehicle for every 350 square feet of sales lot area. (Ord.No. 11914,§2,6-7-93) X. Recycling Collection Station in a completely enclosed building where the collection ;. station use is clearly a secondary use and not the principal use of the building. (Ord.No. 11914,§2,6-7-93) Conditional Usee: a. Drive-in theater. b. Lumberyard. u C. Commercial recreational uses such as water slides and miniature golf courses. s.. d. Bakery. e. Bottling works. f. Wholesale establishment or warehouse including self-storage mini-warehouse.with y{ all storage to be in a completely enclosed building. g. Truck or bus terminal. h. Nursing,rest,convalescent or group home for the handicapped. s i. Apartment,rooming house and boarding home. j. Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. rc; k.
