CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAINAGE, GENERAL UTILITY AND SANITARY
SEWER PURPOSES ACROSS A PORTION OF LOT 25 OF SUNSET ACRES Y°R

' r BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
s FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 11, Page 484, of the Records of the Cole
'= Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a Munici al

,4Y Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and repair structures for he
routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots, tracts or parcels of land °r
described in Section 1•

Section 1; The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus
s'. property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:

A part of a twenty (20) foot wide "Storm Drainage, General Utility, andt ; ;{
Sanitary Sewer" Easement across a part of Lot No. 25 of Sunset Acres fita }`
Subdivision, as per plat of record in Plat Book 11 Page 484, of the Cole
County Recorder's Office, said subdivision being situate in part of the
' Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the
City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri; being more particularly described

r as follows.
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of Lot No. 25 of said Sunset Acres
+; Subdivision; thence S02 039'45"E along the east line of said Lot No. 25, 20.01

feet; thence leaving the east line of said Lot No. 25 on a baring of(
t,:: S85 014'03"E and along the south line of said twenty (20) foot wide easement,

161.62 feet to a point ten (10) feet east of the west line of said Lot No. 25;
thence N05037'02"W and parallel to the west line of said Lot No. 25, 20.00
feet to the north line of said Lot No. 25; thence N85 14 03 E along the north
p` line of said Lot No. 25, 162.65 feet to the POINT OF BEGINN1146.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City .
' j does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement. -�
,� Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground
described in Section 1.
r` Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval. '
