AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING THE NAME
OF A STREET FROM TARA PLACE TO VIRGINIA TRAIL IN MONTICELLO ACRES,
SECTION SEVEN.
i WHEREAS, the owners of the property abutting the affected street have submitted a
petition to the Jefferson City Clerk's office requesting the name change;and I ''
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson held a public hearing on the name change as provided !
in the code of the City of Jefferson on Monday, June 3, 1996 at 7:30 p.m. in !
the City Council Chambers;
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,�.
j AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The name of Tara Place situated within the city limits of Jefferson City
is hereby changed to Virginia Trail. 1
Section 2. Upon the passage and approval of this ordinance,the City Clerk shall
file a certified copy thereof with the Recorder of Deeds of Cole County, Missouri.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
