ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH THE JEFFERSON CITY
SCHOOL. DISTRICT AND THE STATE OF MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY TO OBTAIN AND CARRY OUT A LOCAL GOVERNMENT-SCHOOL DISTRICT
CRIME PREVENTION PARTNERSHIP GRANT.
' BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute E
an agreement with the Jefferson City School District to form a partnership for obtaining and
carrying out a local government-school district crime prevention partnership grant(School
Resource Officer Grant).
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are further authorized and directed to execute
a grant agreement with the State of Missouri Department of Public Safety to administer the
local government-school district crime prevention partnership grant (School Resource
Officer Grant). is
Section 4. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit B.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
