ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1
12514 BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUBSECTION PERTAINING TO THE ELECTION OF
MUNICIPAL JUDGE AND CITY PROSECUTOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 12514, enacted by the Council of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by the addition of subparagraph(e)as follows:
Section I. Pursuant to Chapter 115 RSMo., Municipal Elections are
hereby established as./ollows:
(a) A Primary Election shall be held Tuesday,February Q, 1997,ifneeded.
(h) A General Election shall be held Tuesday,April 8,1997.
(c) The City Clerk shall notify the County Election Authority of the
candidates for office and election dates.

(d) One member of the City Council from each Ward shall be elected at the
General Election on Tuesday,April 8, 1997.

(e) A Municipal Judge and City Prosecutor shall be elected from Ike City ti
at large at the General Election on Tuesday,April 8,1997.
r Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
