AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON BY REPEALING SECTION 26-6(FEE FOR PHOTOGRAPHS OR
FINGERPRINTS),AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 26-6 IN LIEU THEREOF PERTAINING
TO THE SAME SUBJECT MATTER.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by
repealing Section 26-6(Fee for Photo rg aphs or Fingerprints),and enacting a new Section 26-6
in lieu thereof, as follows:

The police chief shall determine the reasonable fees for providing
access to or furnishing copies of police records in accordance with
section 610.026 RSMo, and shall publish the fees to be posted in a
place conspicuous to persons wishing to obtain police records. All
5: monies received by the police department for such accident reports or
criminal records shall be placed in the general revenue fund.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
