AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANCE
12524, WHICH VACATED AND DISCONTINUED A THIRTY FOOT RIGHT-OF-WAY OF
LEPAGE SCHOTT ROAD BETWEEN SKYVIEW DRIVE AND U.S. HIGHWAY 50-63 BY
CORRECTING AN ERROR IN THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, passed and approved
Ordinance 12524, vacating and discontinuing the thirty foot right-of-way of Lepage Schott Road
between Skyview Drive and U.S. Highway 50-63 on September 23, 1996;
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City that there was an error in the legal
description contained in the ordinance in the second line of the legal description where
"Southwest Quarter of Section 22"should have been"Southeast Quarter of Section 22."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 12524 is hereby amended to reflect the correct legal
description. Said description to be amended as follows:
All that part of a thirty(30)foot wide strip of land in the Northwest Q `er of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 22,Township 44 North, Range 11 West, in the City
of Jefferson,County of Cole,Missouri,described in a conveyance of right-of-way
dated March 6, 1917, and recorded in Book 1, Page 338 of the Cole County
Recorder's Office that lies southerly of SKYVIEW DRIVE, westerly of CITY VIEW
DRIVE and northerly of the northerly right-of-way line of U.S. HIGHWAY 50163
and that is within the boundary of a tract conveyed to RE-LOCK PROPERTIES,
L.L.C., as per deed of record in Book 365, page 900, of the Cole County

Recorder's Office.
Section 2. All other parts of Ordinance 12524 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
