ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE
MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR INDUSTRIAL A
INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF THE 1996-97
BUDGET TO REFLECT'THE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE
GRANT AS A CONTINUING APPROPRIATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
an agreement with the Missouri Department of Economic Development for Industrial
Infrastructure Grant. l I
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as i
( ) that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. The 1996-97 Budget is hereby amended to reflect the revenues and
expenditures associated with the grant referred to above by the addition of$500,000 to
Streets and Public Facilities Fund revenue account number 3200 and by amending streets
and public facilities fund to show an increase in authorized expenditures in the amount of `
r, $500,000,which appropriation shall be a continuing appropriation.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
