HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD11126 i BILL NO. -- 86-104 ® SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN HAAKE ORDINANCE NO. t ( I,;.(n AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING DEEDING OF SAID PROPERTY TO THE GRANTING OWNERS. WHEREAS, the portion of property described in Section 1 of this ordinance is hereby declared to be surplus by the City of Jefferson, Missouri; and WHEREAS, it has been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or the citizens of the City to deed said property to the owners who originally granted said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council hereby declares the property described as follows to be surplus: Part of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 44, Range 11, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: From the Northeast corner of Lot No. 31, Block No. 28, of Renn Addition to the City of Jefferson, Missouri; thence North 83 degrees 54 minutes east, 278.49 feet, to a point 253.49 feet east of the west line of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 16, and the beginning point of this description; thence South 5 degrees 20 minutes east 376.95 feet; to the Northerly right-of-way line of Business Route Nos. 50 and 63; thence North 82 degrees 37 minutes east, along the said northerly right-of-way line, 60.04 feet; thence North 5 degrees 20 minutes west 374 feet; thence South 83 degrees 54 minutes west 60.01 feet to the beginning point of this description. Containing .52 acres, more or less. Bearings are magnetic. The above described property to be used for the purposes of a street right-of-way. Section 2. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute all necessary instruments required to convey to the original granting parties the rights to the property described in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
