ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING A 17 ACRE TRACT LOCATED NORTH OF
WILLIAMSBURG WAY FROM PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, TO RS-1,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned
from PUD, Planned Unit Development , to RS-1 , Single Family
Residential:
Part of the west half of the southwest quarter of
Section 3, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the
City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more
• particularly described as follows:
From the southeast corner of the west half of the
southwest quarter of said Section 3; thence N 03° 52 '
04" W, along the quarter quarter section line , 1455 .89
feet to the northeast corner of Monticello Acres ,
Section Three , as per plat of record in Plat Book 11 ,
Page 297 , Cole County Recorder' s Office, and the POINT
OF BEGINNING for this description; thence along the
boundary of said Monticello Acres , Section Three , the
following courses : S 79° 34 ' 16" W, 275. 00 feet;
thence S 460 33 ' 33" W, 375.00 feet; thence S 07° 02 '
59" W, 100.00 feet to a point on the northern boundary
of Williamsburg Way Condominium Plat - 1 , as per plat
of record in Plat Book 11 , Page 304 , Cole County
Recorder' s Office; thence leaving the boundary of said
Monticello Acres, Section Three, westerly along the
northern boundary of said Williamsburg Way Condominium
Plat - 1 , the following courses : N 74° 44 ' 50" W,
202 .5 feet; thence N 840 24 ' 12" W, 233. 39 feet to the
easterly boundary of Lot No. 21 of Monticello Acres ,
Section One , as per plat of record in Plat Book 11 ,
Page 256, Cole County Recorder' s Office; thence leaving
the northern boundary of Williamsburg Way Condominium
Plat - 1 , N 03° 57 ' 10" W, along the easterly boundary

west half of the southwest quarter of Section 3,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence S 030 52 ' 04"

to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 17.01 acres.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

REZONING PUBLIC HEARING
RE: Request filed by Elmer F. and Lorene B. Goldammer to
rezone a 17 acre tract located north of Williamsburg
Way from PUD, Planned Unit Development , to RS-1 , Single
Family.
In 1983, the owners planned condominium development ( forty
units ) for this area and at that time requested the property be
rezoned from RS-1, Single Family, to PUD, Planned Unit
Development. The owners now wish to develop the property with 23
single family dwellings rather than the higher number of
condominiums . A new single family dwelling subdivision plat
accompanied this request for rezoning.
No one appeared in opposition to this request at the
Jefferson City Planning and Zoning Commission meeting of October
13, 1988. At this meeting, the Commission voted to recommend
that this rezoning request be approved.
