AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF SAID PROPERTY TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, the portion of property described in Section 1 of this ordinance is hereby declared to be surplus by the City of Jefferson, Missouri; and WHEREAS, the said property was originally conveyed to the City by the Housing Authority; and WHEREAS, it has been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or the citizens of the City to deed said property to the Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section J. The City Council hereby declares the property described as follows to be surplus: Part of Inlots Nos. 750 and 751 and part of Elm Street vacated by Ordinance No. 7836, all in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Inlot No. 751; thence North 44 degrees 51 minutes 09 seconds east, along the east line of said Inlot 751, 90.82 feet to the northeast corner of the second tract of land as described in Book 179, page 706, Cole County Recorder's Office, said point being on the southerly line of U.S. Route 50 and 63 ; thence North 44 degrees 45 minutes 04 seconds west, along the northerly line of said tract and the southerly line of U.S. Route 50 and 63 , 104.975 feet to the northwest corner of said tract; thence North 68 degrees 12 minutes 23 seconds west, along the southerly right of way of said U.S. Highway 50 and 63, 97. 08 feet to the northeasterly corner of a tract of land as described in Book 220, Page 206, Cole County Recorder' s Office; thence South 41 degrees 23 minutes 07 seconds west, along the easterly line of said tract, 75.84 feet to the southeasterly corner of said tract; thence southeasterly on a curve to the right, having a radius of 644. 62 feet, a distance of 82 .70 feet; thence South 45 degrees 24 minutes 03 seconds east, 107 .26 feet to the westerly line of Lafayette • Street; thence North 44 degrees 51 minutes 09 seconds east, along the westerly line of said Lafayette Street, 16.04 feet to the point of beginning. Containing in all, 0.44 of an acre. Bearings are Magnetic. Section 2. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute all necessary instruments required to convey to the Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the rights to the property described in Section 1 of this ordinance.
