AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO OBTAIN CERTAIN REAL ESTATE ADJOINING THE
JEFFERSON CITY MEMORIAL AIRPORT AND DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE ACQUISITION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, are hereby authorized to obtain the real estate described
as follows:
A tract of .land being a part of a tract described in Book 198
at Page 305 of the Callaway County Records, and located in the
northwest quarter of Section 15 and the southwest quarter of
Section 10, all in New Madrid Survey #2638, Township 44 North,
Range 11 West, Callaway County, Missouri, described as
follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said New Madrid Survey
42638, said point also being the section corner common to
Section 9, 10, 15 and 16; thence South 04 degrees 28 minutes
• 07 seconds East, along the section line 862.0 feet; thence
North 84 degrees 16 minutes 53 seconds East, 1941.7 feet;
thence North 50 degrees 20 minutes 07 seconds West, 550.88
feet to the southeast corner of a tract described in Book 198,
Page 305 of the Callaway County Records; thence continuing
North 50 degrees 20 minutes 07 seconds West, along the
southerly line of said tract, 156.92 feet to the southwest
corner thereof; thence North 04 degrees 28 minutes 07 seconds
West, parallel with the west line of Section 15 and along the
west line of said tract, 421.16 feet; thence South 64 degrees
14 minutes 00 seconds East, along a line which runs parallel
with and 750 feet from the centerline of Runway 12-30, 138.86
feet to the east line of said tract; thence South 04 degrees
28 minutes 07 seconds East, parallel with the west line of
Section 15, and along the east line of said tract, 452.38 feet
to the point of "Beginning", containing 1.203 acres subject
to all easements and restrictions of record.
Section 2. The Council finds that the following described
real estate is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed
for any public purpose:
A tract of land located in the northwesterly part of New
Madrid Survey #2638, Township 44 North, Range 11 West, City
of Jefferson, Callaway County, Missouri, described as follows:

lr... "Beginning" at the northwest corner of a tract as per Book
198, Page 307 of the Callaway County Records; thence S
04 028107" E, along the west line of said tract, 100.88 feet;
thence leaving said west line N 64014100" W, along a line
which is parallel with and 750 feet from the centerline of
Runway 12-30 of the Jefferson City Memorial Airport, 192.95
feet to the south right-of-way line of a County Road; thence
N 84°15'14" E, along said south line, 166.75 feet to the point
of "Beginning's, containing 0.1930 acres subject to all
easements and restrictions of record, and subject also to an
avigation easement as per "Exhibit B" drawing and description
attached hereto.
Section 3. In consideration for the purchase of the real
estate described in Section 1, the City shall pay to owner the sum
of $12,500.00 and convey the surplus property described in Section
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
and all documents necessary thereto.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.��//
