AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED ON GARFIELD STREET TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING
THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY TO AN ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNER.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described
real estate is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed
for any public purpose:
Lot Nos. 26 and 27 of Block 27 of Renn Addition to the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as per plat of record in Plat Book 2,
Page 5, of the Cole County Recorder's Office.
Subject to, a sanitary sewer easement ten (10) feet of even
width across said Lots 26 and 27 to be retained by the City
of Jefferson, Missouri; the centerline of said ten (10) foot
easement being more particularly described as follows:
From the Northeast corner of said Lot 26; thence Westerly
along the Northerly Line of said Lot 26, 50.8 feet to the
• POINT OF BEGINNING for said centerline description; thence
deflecting 82 021110" left, 80.92 feet; thence deflecting
22°29 '15" left, 20.48 feet to the POINT OF TERMINATION of said
centerline, said point being on the Southerly Line of said Lot
27 and 56.32 feet West of the Southeast corner thereof.
Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City are
hereby authorized to execute all necessary instruments required to
sell to an adjoining property owner, Danny L. Eickhorst, the rights
to the property described in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the datce, of its passage and approval.
