ORDINANCE NO. I 11
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND
ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND
FRONTING AND ABUTTING WEST EDGEWOOD DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAID ROADWAY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, against the aggregate lots of tracts of land fronting
and abutting West Edgewood Drive in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway, the sum of
$20,806.40 as the total costs of the improvement of said roadway,
amounting to 2,080.64 front feet; the cost price per front foot is
$10.00 per front foot on property which had no existing curb and
gutters.
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $10.00 as
a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or
abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground
fronting and abutting said improved roadway.
Section 3 . The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting
on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet owned by
each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land
so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per foot for
said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as
special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows:
Robert F. Schepker, John B. Schepker and Alice Ann Wekenborg,
owners of property described as follows:
The East half of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 44,
Range 12, containing 80 acres, more or less, in Cole County,
Missouri;
EXCEPT, 0.74 of an acre, more or less, conveyed to Robert F.
Schepker and wife, by deed of record in Book 179, Page 274, Cole
County Recorder's Office.
Assessment: 257.0 feet @ $10.00 per foot = $2, 570.00

Harry F. Lauf and June L. Lauf, husband and wife, owners of
property described as follows:
Part of the southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 44 North,
Range 12 West, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of the Southwest quarter of
said Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, which is 794.02
feet west from the southeast corner of said southwest quarter;
thence south 85 degrees 30 minutes west, along the approximate
centerline of the County Road and along the south line of the said
Southwest quarter, 256.75 feet; thence North 9 degrees 22 minutes
west, 585 feet; thence north 85 degrees 30 minutes east, 112.96
feet; thence south 9 degrees 22 minutes east, 136.4 feet; thence
south 20 degrees 48 minutes east, 81.66 feet; thence south 41
degrees 04 minutes east, 176. 13 feet; thence south 17 degrees 59
minutes east, 233.39 feet, to the beginning point of this
description.
Containing 2.35 acres, more or less. EXCEPT that part in the
County Road.
Also, part of the southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 44
North, Range 12 west, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly
described as follows:

Section 11; thence south 85 degrees 30 minutes west, along the
south line of said Section 11, 794.02 feet; thence north 17 degrees
59 minutes west, 233.4 feet; thence north 41 degrees 04 minutes
west, 176.13 feet; thence north 20 degrees 48 minutes west, 81.7
feet; thence north 9 degrees 22 minutes west, 136.4 feet; thence
south 85 degrees 30 minutes west, 112.96 feet; thence north 9
degrees 22 minutes west, 888 feet, more or less, to the centerline
of a creek (Wear's Creek) ; thence along and with said line in a
northeasterly direction, 1450 feet, more or less, to the east line
of the said southwest quarter of Section 11; thence south 1 degree
57 minutes east, along said east line, 1048.7 feet, more or less,
to a point that is north 1 degree 57 minutes west, 1107.02 feet,
from the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of said Section
11; thence north 87 degrees 20 minutes west, 351.5 feet; thence
south 60 degrees 58 minutes west, 558.57 feet; thence south 27
degrees 32 minutes east, 922. 67 feet, to the northerly line of a
County Road (Frog Hollow Road) ; thence with said line on an arc
whose chord is north 75 degrees 42 minutes east 460. 0 feet, to the
east line of the said southwest quarter of section 11; thence south
1 degree 57 minutes east, along said east line, 147.0 feet, to the
point of beginning.
Containing 27.59 acres, more or less.
EXCEPT, therefrom that part in the County Road, and that part which
. lies southerly of the County Road.
Assessment: 442.0 feet @ $10.00 per foot = $4,420.00
Theodore A. Wisch and Josephine L. Wisch, husband and wife,
owners of property described as follows:
Part of the southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 44 North,
Range 12 West, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described
as follows:
From the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of said Section
11; thence north 1 degree 57 minutes west, along the quarter
section line, 147.0 feet to the north line of a County Road, known
as Frog Hollow Road, and the beginning point of this description;
thence continuing north 1 degree 57 minutes west, along said
Section line, 960.02 feet; thence north 87 degrees 20 minutes west,
351.50 feet; thence south 60 degrees 58 minutes west, 558.57 feet;
thence south 27 degrees 32 minutes east, 922.67 feet, to the north
line of the aforementioned County Road; thence north 75 degrees 42
minutes east, along said north line, 460.0 feet, to the beginning
point of this description.
Containing in all, 15.28 acres, more or less.
ALSO, all that part of the southeast quarter of the southwest
quarter of Section 11, Township 44, Range 12, that lies southerly
of the County Road, known as Frog Hollow Road.
ALSO, the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 44, Range 12 and bounded
as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said forty; thence running
east 5.5 chains to the south line of a public road; thence north
55 degrees 30 minutes west, 2.05 chains to the north line of said
public road; thence north 5 degrees west 8. 3 chains; thence south
85 degrees west 4 chains to the quarter line; thence south' along
and with the quarter line 10.09 chains to the place of beginning.
Containing 4 acres.

Part of the east half of the northwest quarter of Section 14,
Township 44, Range 12, in the County of Cole, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows:
From the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of said Section
14; thence south 86 degrees 10 minutes west, along the section
line, 482.45 feet; thence south 3 degrees 50 minutes east, 34.24
feet, to the southerly right-of-way line of Frog Hollow Road, and
the beginning point of this description; thence south 7 degrees 31
minutes east, 140 feet; thence south 82 degrees 29 minutes west,
175 feet; thence north 39 degrees 09 minutes west, 178.77 feet, to
the southerly right-of-way line of said Frog Hollow Road; thence
north 85 degrees 05 minutes east, along said southerly right-of-
way line, 269.16 feet, to the beginning point of this description.
Containing .74 of an acre, more or less.

Part of the northwest quarter of section 14 and part of the
southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 11, all in
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the northwest corner of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 14; thence south 5 degrees 43 minutes east,
along the quarter section line, 53.38 feet; thence north 84 degrees
17 minutes east, 70 feet to the beginning point of this
description; thence continuing north 84 degrees 17 minutes east,
70 feet, to the west line of Satinwood Drive; thence north 3
degrees 32 minutes west, along said west line, 14.43 feet; thence
northeasterly along the westerly line of Satinwood Drive, on a
curve to the right, having a radius of 260 feet, a distance of
100.36 feet; thence north 18 degrees 35 minutes east, along said
west line, 6.85 feet, to the southerly line of Edgewood Drive;
thence north 80 degrees 55 minutes west along the southerly line
of Edgewood Drive, 89.56 feet; thence south 1 degree 53 minutes
east, 140.82 feet to the beginning point of this description.
Assessment: 44.78 feet @ $10.00 per foot = $447.80

southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 11, all in
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, Cole County, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the northwest quarter of the
northeast quarter of said Section 14; thence south 5 degrees 43
minutes east, along the quarter Section line, 53.38 feet; thence
north 84 degrees 17 minutes east, 70 feet; thence north 1 degree
53 minutes west, 140.82 feet, to the south line of Edgewood Drive;
thence south 84 degrees 06 minutes west, along said south line,
79.40 feet, to the quarter Section line; thence south 5 degrees 43
minutes east, along the quarter Section line, 87.59 feet, to the
point of beginning.
Assessment: 39.70 feet @ $10.00 per foot = $397.00
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for
the above mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work in
accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to said work.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its date of passage and approval.
