I 11 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING WEST EDGEWOOD DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAID ROADWAY. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots of tracts of land fronting and abutting West Edgewood Drive in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway, the sum of $20,806.40 as the total costs of the improvement of said roadway, amounting to 2,080.64 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $10.00 per front foot on property which had no existing curb and gutters. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $10.00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting said improved roadway. Section 3 . The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows: Robert F. Schepker, John B. Schepker and Alice Ann Wekenborg, owners of property described as follows: The East half of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 44, Range 12, containing 80 acres, more or less, in Cole County, Missouri; EXCEPT, 0.74 of an acre, more or less, conveyed to Robert F. Schepker and wife, by deed of record in Book 179, Page 274, Cole County Recorder's Office. Assessment: 257.0 feet @ $10.00 per foot = $2, 570.00 • Harry F. Lauf and June L. Lauf, husband and wife, owners of property described as follows: Part of the southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, which is 794.02 feet west from the southeast corner of said southwest quarter; thence south 85 degrees 30 minutes west, along the approximate centerline of the County Road and along the south line of the said Southwest quarter, 256.75 feet; thence North 9 degrees 22 minutes west, 585 feet; thence north 85 degrees 30 minutes east, 112.96 feet; thence south 9 degrees 22 minutes east, 136.4 feet; thence south 20 degrees 48 minutes east, 81.66 feet; thence south 41 degrees 04 minutes east, 176. 13 feet; thence south 17 degrees 59 minutes east, 233.39 feet, to the beginning point of this description. Assessment: 39.70 feet @ $10.00 per foot = $397.00 Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the above mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work in accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to said work.
