AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
finds that certain property in the custody of the Parks and
Recreation Commission and described as follows:
scrap iron, pipe, metal and wire
is surplus property, and as such represents a burdensome cost for
storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed
for any public purpose.
Section 2 . The Director of the Parks and Recreation
Commission is hereby authorized to advertise for bid the items
described in Section 1 for sale, and to sell the property to the
highest bidder.
Section 3 . The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
finds that certain property in the custody of the Public Works
Department and described as follows:
(1) 6,000 gallon and (2) 4,000 gallon metal fuel tanks and 200 feet
galvanized piping.

storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed
for any public purpose.
Section 4 . The Director of the Public Works Department is
hereby authorized to advertise for bid the items described in
Section 3 for sale, and to sell the property to the highest bidder.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
