AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION
17-221 THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING THE
ATTACHING OF ADVERTISING MATERIAL TO MOTOR VEHICLES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 17-221 of the Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by designating the existing
paragraph as subpart (a) and adding an additional new subpart (b)
which shall read as follows:
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to attach to any
motor vehicle parked or standing at rest upon private
property any poster, paper, cardboard, or any other
materials for the purpose of advertising any private or
commercial enterprises or events, except in a manner
which will prevent it from falling off such vehicle and
only with the written approval of the owner or lessee of
the real estate upon which such vehicle or vehicles are
® located.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
