ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF FOXBORO SUBDIVISION, SECTION 5, A SUBDIVISION
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, Ken Vaughan & Son Construction Company, Inc. , Kenneth
Vaughan, President, owner of the real estate hereinafter described,
having submitted to the City Council a plat of said real estate,
being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and more
particularly described as follows:
Part of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter
of Section 8, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the
City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows:
From the southeast corner of said Section 8; thence N 060
18' 48" W, along the section line, 760.00 feet to the
northeast corner of "Foxboro Subdivision, Section 311, as
per plat of record in Plat Book 11, Page 372, Cole County
® Recorder's Office; thence along the boundary of said
"Foxboro Subdivision, Section 3" and "Foxboro
Subdivision, Section 211, as per plat of record in Plat
Book 11, Page 354, Cole County Recorder's Office, the
following courses: S 830 41' 12" W, 80. 00 feet; thence
N 49° 24 ' 15" W, 295.19 feet; thence N 23° 30' 47" W,
590.86 feet to the most northerly corner of Lot No. 49
of said "Foxboro Subdivision, Section 211, and the POINT
OF BEGINNING for this description; thence continuing
along the boundary of "Foxboro Subdivision, Section 211
and "Foxboro Subdivision, Section 1", as per plat of
record in Plat Book 11, Page 308, Cole County Recorder's
Office, the following courses: S 350 23 ' 41" W, 76.41
feet; thence N 590 50' 40" W, 150.45 feet; thence N 200
07' 29" E, 4.16 feet; thence N 690 52 ' 31" W, 60.00 feet;
thence northwesterly on a curve to the right having a
radius of 298.57 feet, an arc distance of 55.08 feet (the
chord of said curve being N 590 29 ' 14" W, 55. 00 feet) ;
thence S 660 06' 16" W, 132.70 feet; thence N 430 52 ' 31"
W, 384.42 feet to the most northerly corner of Lot No.
3 of said "Foxboro Subdivision, Section 1", being a point
on the southerly line of a tract described by deed of
record in Book 291, Page 327, Cole County Recorder's
Office; thence leaving the boundary of "Foxboro
Subdivision, Section 1" N 470 50' 07" E along the
southerly line of said tract in Book 291, Page 327, and
• along the southerly line of other tracts described in
Book 216, Page 79, Book 214, Page 439, Book 233, Page
488, and Book 301, Page .417, Cole County Recorder's
Office, 357.37 feet to a point on the westerly line of
another tract described in Book 174, Page 130, Cole
County Recorder's Office; thence S 220 04 ' 38" E, along
the westerly line of said tract, 118.60 feet to the
southwesterly corner thereof; thence N 500 24' 29" E,
along the southerly line of said tract and along the
northeasterly extension thereof, 164.70 feet; thence S
23° 30' 47" E, 571.53 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 4.70 acres.
WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and
properly signed and accepted by the owner of said subdivision,
known and referred to as Foxboro Subdivision, Section 5, that all
taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with
by the owner of said subdivision, and that in all respects the
requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been
complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plat of Foxboro Subdivision, Section 5, lying,
being and situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat attached hereto and
made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by
the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify
the approval of said plat under the seal of the City of Jefferson.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

SUBDIVIBION STAFF REPORT
Re: A request filed by Central Missouri Professional Services
on behalf of the Ken Vaughan and Son Construction
Company, Inc. for approval of a final plat of Foxboro
Subdivision, Section 5.
This final plat is for eight residential lots. The
subdivision is east of South Country Club Drive and is in a RS-2,
Single Family Zoning District.
The plat conforms to the approved preliminary plat.
Improvement plans have been approved and the plat meets all
requirements of the Subdivision Regulations. The Planning and
Zoning Commission recommended at its regular meeting of March 9,
1989 that this plat be approved.
