Old Business:
Police Department - Litter, dogs on the beach and glass on the beach review
Review outcomes of litter on the beach citations
Video retention policy/storage
Policy – Todd Smith 90 Retention – Will work on policy
Cost depending on policy
New Business:
Fire Department – SPLOST List for Expenditures- Chief Fields
Minty Parks – Motion to purchase at this time
1995 Used Ferrara Fire Pumper – $65,000.00; High Pressure TNT Rescue Tools $13,000.00
New Fill Station $37,028.85 /Purchase of New Fire Pumper in next Fiscal Year Budget.

Police Department – Utilization of SPLOST to pay for needed Public Safety Software-Monty Parks – Motion to spend $160,000.00 SPLOST Funds + $40,000.00 General Funds Total not to exceed
$200,000.00 and include implementation schedule for October Council Meeting- Bill Garbett 2nd, Wanda Doyle – Yes - Unamious
General Public Safety Discussions –
Should the City of Tybee Island require criminal background checks for committees and task forces like we require for City volunteers and employees – No Action
Should we consider requesting the Tybee Police Association to volunteer to operate Orange Crush using control zone theory and principles? City Attorney to Review
Would this be handled under the current Festival Zone Ordinance?
Or does it need a separate ordinance to cover unpermitted events?
