AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
T.F.L. D/B/A JEFFERSON CITY TAXI COMPANY BY CHANGING THE STARTING
DATE, METHOD OF CALCULATING PAYMENT AND THE EVALUATION PERIOD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to the agreement with T.F.L. d/b/a
Jefferson City Taxi Company by changing the starting date to
February 27, 1989, method of calculating payment and the evaluation
period.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
This Agreement made and entered this day of
, 1989, by and between the City of Jefferson,
qP Missouidi, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as
"City, " and T.F.L. d/b/a Jefferson City Taxi Company, hereinafter
referred to as "Company" .
WHEREAS, the City and the Company entered into an agreement for the
provisions of shuttle services; and
WHEREAS, it has become beneficial to both parties to amend said
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it agreed to amend the sections listed below as
follows:
4. Consideration. The City shall pay to Company the amount
of two dollars ($2. 00) multiplied by ten percent (10%) of the total
monthly average of one way shuttle riders in the morning. The
Company shall also be entitled to receive one additional dollar per
passenger from any passengers transported pursuant to this
contract. The City assumes no liability for the additional one
dollar ($1.00) charge. Payment to Company shall be made on a
monthly basis.
6. Reviews. This contract shall be reviewed monthly to
determine ridership and cost effectiveness of the program.
Following each review, adjustments may be made to the contract by
mutual agreement.
9. Term. This contract will be in effect from February 27,
1989, for one (1) year, with the option of renewing the contract
for two (2) additional one-year periods. Any options shall be
exercised by the City in writing at least sixty (60) days prior to
the end of the term or option period.
