AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO OBTAIN REAL ESTATE NECESSARY FOR THE KNIGHT
VALLEY STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT AND TO EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
CONNECTED THEREWITH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jefferson
Missouri, are hereby authorized to obtain certain real estate
described below necessary for the Knight Valley Storm Drainage
Project and to execute any documents necessary thereto. The cost
of obtaining said property shall not exceed $12,000.00.
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 24, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of
Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri; being more particularly
described as follows:
From the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the
Agh qu Northeast Quarter of said Section 24; thence N86 040148 11W along
the South Line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 24, 676.78 feet to the Southeast
corner of a tract as described in Book 158, Page 94, of the
Cole County Recorder's Office, the POINT OF BEGINNING for this
description; thence continuing N86 0 4014811W along the
aforementioned South Line of said Quarter Quarter Section,
410. 00 feet; thence leaving said South Line on a bearing of
N08 0 23120 11W, 226. 66 feet to the North Line of said tract in
Book 158, Page 94; thence S86 047126 11E along said North Line,
456.95 feet to the Northeast corner of said tract in Book 158,
Page 94;thence S03 033155 11W along the East Line of said tract
in Book 158, Page 94, 222.82 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing in all, 96,406.080 square feet (2.213 acres) .
Also, a temporary construction easement to provide access to
the above described tract 20' in even width along the north
or south property line of Lloyd Kempker as per book 158 page
94 Cole County Recorder's Office from the east right-of-way
line of Tanner Bridge Road to be located at the direction of
the property owner.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
