AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF WAL-MART SUPERCENTER DEVELOPMENT, A
SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, Wal-Mart Properties, Inc. , a Delaware corporation,
Curtis H. Barlow, Vice-President of Real Estate, owner of the real
estate hereinafter described, having submitted to the City Council
a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole
County, Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
Part of the south half of the northwest quarter of
Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City
of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the said south
half of the northwest quarter; thence N 050 36 ' 53" W
953.08 feet to the southerly line of a tract of land
described in Book 248, Page 580, Cole County Recorder's
Office; thence along the southerly line of said tract N
85° 45' 00" E 120.00 feet to the southeasterly corner
thereof; thence along the easterly line of said tract and
the easterly line of another tract described in Book 270,
Page 380, Cole County Recorder's Office, N 050 36' 53"
W 246.43 feet to the south right-of-way line of Missouri
Boulevard; thence along said right-of-way N 770 10' 13"
E 285.50 feet; thence along said right-of-way N 850 45'
00" E 31.24 feet to the northwest corner of a tract of
land described in Book 268, Page 405, Cole County
Recorder's Office; thence along the west line of said
tract S 040 15' 00" E 200.00 feet; thence along the south
line of said tract N 850 45 ' 00" E 200.00 feet; thence
along the east side of said tract N 040 15' 00" W 200.00
feet to the south right-of-way line of Missouri
Boulevard; thence along said right-of-way N 850 45' 00"
E 68.77 feet; thence along said right-of-way S 880 58 '
06" E 150.01 feet; thence along said right-of-way N 850
45' 00" E 294.28 feet to the northwest corner of a tract
of land described in Book 298, Page 17, Cole County
Recorder's Office; thence along the west line of said
tract S 050 38 ' 12" E 250.00 feet; thence along the south
line of said tract N 850 45 ' 00" E 225.00 feet; thence
along the east line of said tract N 050 38 ' 12" W 249.99
feet to the south right-of-way line of Missouri
Boulevard; thence along said right-of-way N 850 45' 00"
E 69. 12 feet; thence along said right-of-way on a curve
to the right, having a radius of 11,383.21 feet, an arc
IF distance of 405.96 feet, to the west right-of-way line
of Stadium West Boulevard; thence with said west right-
of-way of Stadium West Boulevard the following courses:
S 01° 11' 10" E 666.90 feet; thence along a curve to the
left, having a radius of 1195.92 feet and an arc distance
of 499.96 feet; thence S 250 08' 20" E 76.81 feet to the
south line of the southeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of said Section 11; thence S 860 10' 06" W
(record S 860 10' 03" W) 513.83 feet; thence S 850 53 '
59" W 1372.22 feet to the point of beginning containing
(2,112,033.315 square feet) 48.486 acres.
WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and
properly signed and accepted by the owner of said subdivision,
known and referred to as Wal-Mart Supercenter Development, that all
taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with
by the owner of said subdivision, and that in all respects the
requirements of the Planning and zoning Commission of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been
complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plat of Wal-Mart Supercenter Development,
lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat attached hereto
and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted
by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify
the approval of said plat under the seal of the City of Jefferson.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
