A RESOLUTION APPROVING 28E AGREEMENT FOR ANIMAL CONTROL
Whereas, The City is approving entering into a 28E Agreement for Animal Control with
the Cedar Valley Humane Society, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is necessary to have an
agreement for Animal Control;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
a 28E Agreement to provide Animal Care at the Service Fee of $130 per animal and
Call -Out Fees of $75 per call -out.
On the 25th day of April, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2012 -17, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING 28E AGREEMENT FOR ANIMAL CONTROL and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ball.
Ayes: Ball, Weipert, Ryan. Nays: none. Absent: Bartels and Upton.
Whereupon 3 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -17, A RESOLUTION APPROVING 28E
AGREEMENT FOR ANIMAL CONTROL be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 25th day of April, 2012.
