ORDINANCE NO. (, Xq
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND
ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND
FRONTING AND ABUTTING SOUTHRIDGE DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAID ROADWAY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, against the aggregate lots of tracts of land fronting
and abutting Southridge Drive in the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
for the improvement of said roadway, the sum of $37,857.40 as the
total costs of the improvement of said roadway, amounting to
3,785.74 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $10.00 per
front foot on property which had no existing curb and gutters.
Section 2 . For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $10.00 as
a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or
abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground
fronting and abutting said improved roadway.
Section 3 . The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting
on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet owned by
each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land
so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per foot for
said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as
special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows:
Max Neutzler and Amelia Neutzler, his wife; Owners of property
described as follows:
Part of the east half of the northeast quarter of the southwest
quarter and part of the east half of the southeast quarter of the
southwest quarter of Section 13, Township 44, Range 12 , containing
13.9 acres or more or less and described more particularly as
follows:
From the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of Section 13,
Township 44, Range 12; thence west along the Section line 6.41
chains to the west line of Missouri State Highway No. 54 and the
beginning point of this description; thence continuing west along
the Section line 3.94 chains to the West line of the East half of
the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 13,
Township 44, Range 12; thence North along the west line of the east
half of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter, 9.50 chains
to Missouri State Highway Route C; thence along said Highway North
48 degrees and 14 minutes east, 4. 13 chains; thence north 28
degrees east, 14.31 chains more or less to the east line of the
northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 13, Township
44, Range 12; thence south along the quarter section line, 15.74
chains to the north line of Missouri State Highway No. 54, thence
south 34 degrees and 15 minutes west along the north line of said
Highway 10 chains to the place of beginning.
Assessment: 1205.04 feet @ $10. 00 per foot = $12,050.40

Cole County Records, located in Part of the southeast quarter of
the southwest quarter of Section 13, and part of the northeast

North, Range 12 West, City of Jefferson, Cale County, Missouri,
described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 24 ; thence west along the Section
line, 716.0 feet; thence north 02 degrees 45 minutes 15 seconds
Aft east, 69.0 feet, to a 1" pipe on the northerly line of U.S. Route
54 (Jefferson Street) , at the southeast corner of the tract above

Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for
the above mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri,. relative to said kind of work in
accordance with the ordinance" of said City in regard to said work.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its date of passage and approval.
