AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. The Council. of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, finds that certain property in the custody of the various City departments and described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, as surplus property, and as such represents a burdensome cost for storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed for any public purpose. Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to request permission from the State of Missouri Purchasing Department to place surplus items described in Exhibit A for sale in the Surplus Property sale to be conducted on July 26, 1989.
