AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
THE MISSOURI HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT FOR SECTION 18
OF THE URBAN MASS TRANSPORTATION ACT OF 1964.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to the agreement with the Missouri
Highway and Transportation Department for Section 18 of the Urban
Mass Transportation Act of 1964.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

Dear Mayor Gardner:
Attached is an executed grant amendment between the Missouri
Highway and Transportation Commission and the City of
Jefferson for the period of November 1, 1989 to October 31,
19890 The total Section 18 funds allocated to this project
are $223,500 for net operating costs.
' Please ensure that all costs relating to this project are
kept on file for auditing purposes.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
WHEREAS, the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission and
the City of Jefferson entered into an Agreement dated
September 12, 1988, to fund a public transportation project pursuant
to Section 18 of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as
amended.
NOW THEREFORE, said Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 17, Section A, is amended to increase the federal
share reimbursement to grantee for net operating costs to an
amount not to exceed $223, 500.
2. The Agreement between the parties hereto dated
September 12, 1988, shall remain in full force and effect
except as amended hereby.
