AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
OUTDOOR WARRAING SIRENS TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE
DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
finds that certain property in the custody of the Police Department
and described as follows:
Four ACA-Biersraah & Niedermeyer Outdoor Warning sirens
is surplus property, and as such represents a burdensome cost for
storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed
for any public purpose.
Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to
advertise for bid the items described in Section 1 for sale, and
to sell the property to the highest bidder.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
