AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERK TO OBTAIN RIGHT OF WAY ON EDGEWOOD DRIVE BY
CONTRACTING WITH THE DEVELOPER TO WAIVE CONNECTION FEES IN LIEU OF
PAYMENT FOR THE PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, to obtain permanent right of way on Edgewood Drive, are
authorized to contract with Ken Vaughan, the developer, for waiver
of the $1300 connection fee for eight (8) lots in Foxboro
Subdivision as filed in the Cole County Recorder's Office.
The legal description of the right of way to be acquired
is as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner, Southeast
quarter, Southeast quarter, Section 8, Township 44 North, Range 12
West, thence on a bearing of N06 010044 11W, 91.01 feet; thence on a
bearing of N85°06116"E, 182.75 feet; thence on a bearing of
S74°50'38 11E, 265.37 feet; thence on a bearing of S85°06'16"W, 430.00
feet, to the point of beginning.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

Dear Ken:
The City Council, passed Ordinance No. 11275 on August 7, 1989,
waiving the $1300 sanitary sewer connection fee for eight (8) lots
in Foxboro subdivision. These lots (nos. 7, 9, 56, 57, 59, 61, 62,
and 64) were originally served by a sanitary sewer constructed
several years ago. This waiver is compensation for your platting
Aft R/W for the Edgewood Drive Extension south of Carriage Court.
Please sign this letter below if you are in agreement with this
arrangement.
