ORDINANCE NO. -I8
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
finds that certain property in the custody of the Fire Department
and described as follows:
1973 Seagrave Fire Pumper Truck; Serial No. D-73283
is surplus property, and as such represents a burdensome cost for
storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed
for any public purpose.
Section 2. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
finds that certain property in the custody of the Finance
Department as described as follows:
1973 International School Bus; VIN #13662CHA35658
1983 Ford Crown Victoria; VIN #1FABP43G9DZ110458
is surplus property, and as such represents a burdensome cost for
storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed
for any public purpose.
Section 3. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to
advertise for bid the items described in Sections 1 and 2 for sale,
and to sell the property to the highest bidder.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
