AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CORRECTING CERTAIN
TAX ASSESSMENTS IN THE NAME OF STEVE THARP, ET AL AS CONTAINED IN
ORDINANCE NO. 11244 WHICH WAS PASSED ON JUNE 16, 1989, AND VOIDING
AND CANCELING TAX .BILL 14367, DATED JUNE 27, 1989.
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson, Missouri, passed Ordinance 11244
levying certain special tax assessments, and;
WHEREAS it has now been determined that certain property along the
project was billed twice for the work and that in order to correct
this tax bill 14367 issued in Steve Tharp's, et al name for 271.9
feet should be voided and canceled; and
WHEREAS, tax bill issued in the name of Vivian S. Tharp for 512.9
feet included the same 271.9 feet; and
WHEREAS, payment of the Vivian S. Tharp tax bill has been received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.' Tax Bill No. 14367 on the Southridge Drive project
issued on June 27, 1989, in the amount of $2,719.00 against
1p property owned by Steven E. Tharp and Connie M. Tharp, husband and
wife, as to an undivided one-third interest, Ronald W. Weckenborg
and Lavern M. Weckenborg, husband and wife, as to an undivided one-
third interest, and Thurman L. Kempker and Esther M. Kempker,
husband and wife, as to an undivided one-third interest is hereby
declared to be void and canceled and the City Clerk is directed to
release the said tax bill on her books.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its date of passage.
