AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF EMERALD RIDGE SUBDIVISION - SECTION 11 A
SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, Ken Vaughan & Son Construction Company, Inc. , Kenneth
Vaughan, President, owner of the real estate hereinafter described,
having submitted to the City Council a plat of said real estate,
being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and more
particularly described as follows:
Part of the east half of the southeast quarter of Section
5, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, and part of the
northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 8,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of
Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of Section 5; thence
S 87° 011 5511 W along the Section line 924.49 feet;
thence S 03° 201 2511 E 162.86 feet; thence southerly on
a curve to the right, having a radius of 404.02 feet, an
arc distance of 113.74 feet (the chord of said curve
being S 040 431 3011 W, 113.37 feet) , to a point on the
northerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 50; thence
N 77° 121 3511 W, along said right-of-way line, 60.00
feet; thence northerly on a curve to the left, having a
radius of 344.02 feet, an arc distance of 96.85 feet (the
chord of said curve being N 040 431 30t1 E, 96.53 feet) ;
thence N 030 201 2511 W, 163.25 feet to the southerly line
of Section 5; thence N 770 131 09t1 W, 368.35 feet to the
west line of the southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 5; thence N 040 101 3611 W, along the
quarter quarter section line, 1276.26 feet; thence N 88
011 02t1 E, 439.78 feet; thence N 480 171 0110 E, 126.56
feet; thence S 410 42 ' 5911 E, 100.00 feet; thence N 48°

S WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and
properly signed and accepted by the owner of said subdivision,
known and referred to as Emerald Ridge Subdivision - Section 1,
that all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the
requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully
complied with by the owner of said subdivision, and that in all
respects the requirements of the Planning and zoning Commission of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plate and subdivisions
have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plat of Emerald Ridge Subdivision - Section
1, lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat attached
hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and
accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify
the approval of said plat under the seal of the City of Jefferson.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
