ORDINANCE NO. 115041
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING AN 8.0 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED
AT THE END OF VETERAN'S LANE FROM RS-2 (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING) TO
C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned
from RS-2 (Single Family Dwelling) to C-2 (General Commercial) :
Part of the south half of the northwest quarter of Section 24,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County
of Cole, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the center of said Section 24; thence N 860 38 ' 32" W,
along the quarter section line, 437.26 feet to the southwest corner
of the first described tract in Book 213, Page 241, Cole County
Recorder's Office, and the point of beginning for this description;
thence continuing N 860 38 ' 32" W, along the quarter section line,
920.62 feet; thence N 170 09' 23" W, 194.85 feet; thence N 470 22 !
00" E, 269.92 feet; thence S 860 38 ' 32" E, 803.83 feet to a point
on the westerly line of the aforementioned tract in Book 213, Page
241; thence S 030 43 ' 47" W, along the westerly line of said tract,
376.64 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
