Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with Cam Dex Security & Film
yprt. Corporation for the repair and upgrade of the security system for
the Jefferson City Police Department for a sum not to exceed
` - $6, 190. 00.
Section 2 . The agreement shall be substantially the same in

THIS AGREEMENT made and entered this �l 7J day of

3 corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City, " and Cam Dex
Security & Film Corp. , 1600 Genessee, Kansas C; ty, Missouri, 64102 , ',
hereinafter referred to as "Contractor. " � _ a
WHEREAS, The City of Jefferson Police Department has on itsf
premises cameras and monitors to protect the security of its
personnel ; and
" WHEREAS, Several of said monitors and cameras have gotten weak and
are in poor repair; and
WHEREAS, Contractor has agreed to provide repairs and an u pg rade #�
to the closed circuit security television system in the City's
Police Department building.

f: NOW, THEREFORE, be it agreed as follows:
1. Scope of Services. The scope of services for this contract
shall consist of the following: ' '" °'
A. REPAIR AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE r ;
d 1. Make all necessary adjustments to each camera and
monitor.
2 . Clean all camera and monitor housings.
3 . Clean and/or replace all connectors, as needed.
4. Clean all internal camera and monitor components,
including electrical switches and contacts, and CRT
r .faces, etc.

5. All new cable runs shall be made in a manner than,.
shall provide plenty of slack in each cable to
ensure no undue strain is placed on any particular
cable, and to maintain sufficient extra cable for
cutting off old, and crimping on new connectors as
needed in the .future.
6. All new cable . runs shall be made with teflon
sheathed cable where needed to comply with City
v,is
code.
7. New connectors shall be of a type that will minimize t
' the corrosion and strain effects that now occurs
with the currently installed BNC connectors. )
8 . Any additional requirements that the vendor believes
if
is necessary to provide a fully functional system
at a minimal cost
