ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH LAKE OF THE
OZARKS ASSOCIATION FOR A PORTION OF THE COSTS FOR AN AIR SERVICE
DEMAND ANALYSIS AND TRAVEL AGENT SURVEY.
�'cf€ BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
s Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
`s directed to execute an agreement with Lake of the Ozarks
Association for a portion of the costs for an air service demand

analysis and travel agent survey. The amount of the contract shall
not exceed $10. 000. 00. , #
Section 2 , The agreement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
b; Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ?�
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

This Agreement, made and entered into this day t;

Jefferson, Missouri a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred
.,, to as the "City" and the Lake of the Ozarks Association, a ` �
hereinafter referred to as the "Association. "

't WHEREAS, the City and the Association are interested in
improved air transportation to the mid-Missouri area, and

WHEREAS, a study is needed to determine potential air service " r ,r
demand for the area, and r�
WHEREAS, both Jefferson City and the Lake Ozark region should
benefit from the study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AGREED as follows:
'r 1. The City shall enter into an agreement with a qualified ' s
consultant to prepare a planning study to determine the air service
?f demand for an approximate 50 mile radius of Jefferson City. The
City and Association will mutually approve said consultant and
Scope of Work. ¢�
2. The City's share of the consultant fee less applicable `
grant funding shall be two-thirds (2/3) not to exceed $20,000 and
the Association's share shall be one-third ( 1/3) not to exceed
$10,000. The City will pal the consultant and the Association
s shall reimburse the City within two weeks .

3. Any change in scope of consultant services shall be in
° writing and mutually agreed upon by the City and Association.
