AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING REAL
s ' PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING ITS SALE AND AUTHORIZING THE
1 MAYOR AND CLERK
TO EXECUTE A DEED.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,

finds that the following real property is surplus property of the
City, and as such represents a burdensome cost, and that the
property is no longer needed for any public purposes:
Part of Inlot No. 531, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
more particularly described as follows:
` From the northwesterly corner of Inlot 531; thence southerly
a along the westerly line of said Inlot, 73 feet 9 inches to the ;7r
point of beginning; thence continuing southerly along the
westerly line of Inlot 531, 93 .7 feet, more or less, to a
point 31. 3 feet northerly of the southwesterly corner of said .,l,k ,

Section 2 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized ' '

to sell the property, upon approval of the Jefferson City Housing
Authority, to the adjoining property owner(s) or if the adjoining
property owner(s) is not interested, after publication of
availability at public or private sale at the discretion of the
City Administrator.

Section 3 . Upon sale of said property, the Mayor and City V1
Clerk are hereby authorized to executea deed relinquishing all of
the City's interest in the tracts of ground described in Section 'Y`a
. 1, providing that the applicable terms and covenants required by
7t the Special Warranty Deed that conveyed the property to the City '::'
are met.
Section 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval. ;
