ORDINANCES 9544 AND 9552 ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND FRINGE BENEFITS ;�kx,;• ;'
• OF ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE IN LIEU
THEREOF. ,.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. Ordinances 9544 and 9552 of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, fixing the salaries of the elected City officials aref; rt11
hereby repealed in their entirety and a new ordinance enacted in
lieu thereof.
4? Section 2 The following named elected officials of the City t1 'x `c
{ of Jefferson, Missouri, shall receive the following compensation
for the performance of their duties. '````''
(1) The Mayor shall receive the sum of $900. 00 per month as

salary, effective April 15 1991.

(2) The Municipal Court Judge and City Prosecuting Attorney f . a
shall receive the sum of $1, 100 per month as salary,
effective April 15, 1991.
r (3) Councilmen shall receive the sum of $450 per month as
f salary effective November 1, 1990, for those Council `

members elected or appointed to terms beginning on April j .w
3 , 1990. Councilmen elected or appointed to a term after
April 3, 1990 shall receive the sum of $450. 00 per month
as salary, effective April 15, 1991.
Section 3 . The elected City officials shall be afforded the k,h
same insurance, deferred compensation, retirement and cafeteria '
plan provided to all full time employees, unless they elect i
individually not to accept or participate in any such programs.
Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval subject to the effective
date contained in Section 2.
