'` . AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, GRANTING THE CITY
COUNSELOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR AUTHORITY TO SIGN RELEASES ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY FOR CLAIMS UP TO TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
r AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Counselor and City Administrator of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, shall have the authority to compromise
and settle on behalf of the City claims on behalf of the City for
P property and personal injury damages by signing settlement
agreements, insurance settlements and all other forms of releases
when the amount of the City's claim is Ten Thousand Dollars 1#
($10,000. 00) or less.
i Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval .
