F BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
'I Section 1. Chapter 17 , License, Taxation and Miscellaneous
,. Business Recrulations, is hereby amended by deleting Section 17- �+
207 Annual Review of Levy, and enacting a new Section 17-207 which
�g{'4 shall read as follows: iR' t1p
Sec. 17-207. Annual review of levy.
In July of each year there shall be a public hearing to x�
determine 'a levy on utility gross receipts tax as provided for
herein for the subsequent city fiscal year. Such p ublic hearings r
shall be called by the Finance Committee. After a public hearing,
the council shall by ordinance establish a gross receipts tax levy
subsequent for the fiscalx
�1u year.
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
