AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PROVIDING FOR THEtp
IMPROVEMENT OF CHESTNUT STREET FROM LESLIE BOULEVARD TO MCCLUNG
PARK ENTRANCE BY CURBING AND GUTTERING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT at '.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City ouncil

City on, Missouri, by curbing and
guttering with Portland cement concrete. That resolution has been s,f,
duly published according to law for seven (7) consecutive
insertions in the News Tribune a daily newspaper

published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri. No protest against
the contemplated improvement has been filed with the City Clerk by

a majority of the resident owners of property along said sections
of the roadway liable for the costs of the improvement, and who own
a majority of the front feet, along he y „£j��
g portion of the roadway to
be improved.
Section 2 . The portion of roadway described in Section 1 ,
shall be built in accordance with the plans and specifications 4 § " ,
submitted by the Director of Public Works and filed in the Office
of the City Clerk. The cost of $10 . 00 per front foot shall be .
N< charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate ?`:g
abutting and fronting on the improvement, and special tax bills
shall b'e issued therefore, as provided, in Chapter 29 of the Codet
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the revised statutes of the
State of Missouri.
? Section 3 . The Director of Public Works is hereby instructed
and authorized to advertise for bids for this improvement.
Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
froin and after its passage and approval .
